And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works.
Hebrews 10:24
At Delta, we have a simple hope: to see people come to know Jesus Christ and grow in their Christian faith.
Samaritan's Purse-Operation Christmas Child
For the past several years we have been packing shoeboxes to be sent to children all around the world. Each box is packed with toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. These simple gifts are shipped outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease, and to children living on Native American reservations in the U.S.
Pulpit Supply
Creates and maintains list of lay speakers willing to provide worship services for the congregations who currently have no pastor. Committed to spreading the word of God through action and fellowship.

Five Loaves Ministry!
Rome First has a NEW MISSION with an opportunity for our church to serve that is very exciting!! The Bread of Life Ministry has been doing a wonderful service to the community for many years, providing large baskets of food and meals for people in need; those in poverty, disabled veterans, and the elderly. That ministry has recently
transitioned to Rome First and will now be serving in this capacity. We hope to make an impact with everyone not only physically by feeding their hunger, but also spiritually
by offering prayer and Scripture and being greeted by a friendly and kind person of faith. It has been renamed to be the Five Loaves Community Center Ministry and will be working to serve the community on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
This program is able to be run by getting donations from Hannaford’s as well as through the Food Bank, along with grants and other donations. It is run entirely by volunteers ,serving God by blessing others. For our church, it is an incredible opportunity and we are asking for more people to serve in this mission in whatever capacity they are able. On Fridays and Saturdays at 9AM trucks of food are unloaded using carts and then it is all sorted into boxes to give away and we need people for this process. At 10AM people begin to arrive and we need friendly people to help give away the food, talk to the people, offer prayer, and maybe invite them to church. By noon we need people to help with cleanup. On Sundays the process of unloading and sorting food begins at 12:30PM, people begin to arrive at 1:30PM, and cleanup is at 3:30PM. Kim Marshall is heading up this ministry, so make sure to introduce yourself when you come to serve! If you know of anyone who may benefit from this ministry please share how it works. There are no financial requirements and no need to provide any documentation of need. A signature is required in order to track the
number of boxes given out, which assists with the donation process. If the last name begins with A through I then pickup would be on Friday. If the last name is J through R
it would be Saturday, and if it’s S through Z it would be Sunday. If there is a conflict with the day designated based upon the last name then they would speak to Kim. Let them know to drive up to the door where they will be greeted and the food shared. Also, let them know that we would love to pray with them if they have any concerns. We are doing this with the love of Christ and for his glory! Soon we will also be making a Saturday lunch that will be shared! All of it is exciting, just seeing what God is doing and knowing that seeds of faith and hope will be planted through it. Please prayerfully consider if God is calling you to serve in this new mission!
