Letter From Pastor Sherry
Dear Church Family,
“There is a time for everything, and a season
for every activity under the heavens.” —
Ecclesiastes 3:1
As June arrives, I find myself reflecting on these words
once more. It’s hard to believe that our season together is
coming to a close. My last Sunday with you will be June
22nd, and even as I write those words, there is a mixture
of emotions- gratitude, sadness, hope, and peace.
It has been an honor and a blessing to serve as your
pastor. We’ve walked through many things together-
worshiping side by side, praying through storms (both
literal and spiritual), laughing and grieving, growing and
trusting. I have seen God at work in your lives and in this
church, and I carry those glimpses of grace with me as I
go.
Transitions are never easy. But I believe, deeply, that the
same God who called us together in one season will be
faithful to lead us into the next. For you and for me, there
are new beginnings ahead—and God is already there,
preparing the way.
Please know how thankful I am for the kindness, support,
and prayers you have shared with me. You have shaped
my journey more than you know. I will hold you in my heart
and continue to lift you in prayer, trusting that God will
continue the good work begun here.
As I prepare to leave, I want to encourage you: keep
watching and listening for God. Keep being a light in this
community that still so desperately needs hope,
compassion, and Christ. I believe there are many God
Moments ahead for all of us!
With love and blessings always,
Pastor Sherry
