Pastor Message
Dear Church Family,
As the season begins to shift from summer’s warmth to
autumn’s cool embrace, I find myself reflecting on the
changes we’ve experienced together over the past
months. We have weathered literal storms (even a
tornado!), prayed for breakthrough, and shared in
countless “God Moments.” Through it all, one thing has
remained constant: God’s faithfulness.
This September, I want to encourage each of you to see
the changing seasons as a reminder that God is always at
work, doing new things in our midst. There are fresh
opportunities for us as a congregation to come together,
not only to worship but to serve. We are called to be the
hands and feet of Christ, reaching out to those around us
and making a difference in ways that truly matter.
Attending church regularly is not just about checking a box;
it’s about being part of a community where we uplift one
another, grow in our faith, and find hope for the journey
ahead. Your presence matters—not just for you, but for
those who need the encouragement and hope you bring.
This fall, let’s step deeper into community by getting
involved in new ways. Join a small group, serve in a
ministry, attend Bible study, or volunteer for one of our
upcoming events. As 1 Peter 4:10 reminds us, “Each of
you should use whatever gift you have received to serve
others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various
forms.” Whether you feel called to serve through
hospitality, children’s ministry, worship ministry, outreach,
or simply by praying for those in need, there is a place for
you here. Your gifts are needed now more than ever.
That’s what “being the church” is all about- growing and
serving together.
As we embark on this new season, I pray that God would
open doors to new hopes and possibilities for each of us.
Let’s continue to journey together, embracing the future
with confidence, trusting that God is guiding us every step
of the way. We are stronger together, and I believe great
things are ahead as we step into the unknown with faith
and joy.
With love and blessings, Pastor Sherry
